A working farm with its own black beach
Walk across the fields and you're on the sand – a private stretch of black beach by the farm, with the Westman Islands on the horizon. The farm has horses, a goat, cows and two very friendly dogs, and Guðný is always happy to share tips for the area.
Ride an Icelandic horse on the black sand
In summer the family runs a small horse rental right on the farm. Say hello to the horses, or take a one- or two-hour ride along the beach. Ask us about times and prices when you book.
